Crevalcore
C’è aria di rivalità tra cuochi in quel di Crevalcore, perché si trova tra le province di Modena e Bologna e, dunque, nella condizione di avere una cucina molto contaminata dalle due culture culinarie. All’interno del centro storico porticato, chiuso tra due porte, vale la pena soffermarsi sul Teatro Comunale (ora inagibile) che dal 1881 conserva ancora al suo interno il sipario originale, realizzato da Raffaele Faccioli. A pochi chilometri dal capoluogo, una vera scoperta: le Vasche dell’ex zuccherificio, un ambiente palustre divenuto raro nella pianura coltivata. Si tratta di 65 ettari dell’ex zuccherificio chiuso negli anni ‘80 con le sue vasche di decantazione.
There is an air of rivalry between chefs down in the city because Crevalcore is located between the provinces of Modena and Bologna and, therefore, is in the condition of having a cuisine that is very contaminated by the two culinary cultures. Within the porticoed historical centre, closed between two doors, it is worth stopping by the Municipal Theatre (presently inaccessible), which since 1881 still preserves within its
premises the original curtain made by Raffaele Faccioli.
A few kilometres from the chief town, we find a real discovery:
the Tanks of the former sugar factory, a marshy environment
