Ravarino
Three kilometers from the “Bolognina” exit, you reach the village of Stuffione, with its charming Sanctuary dedicated to Our Lady of Montserrat. In pre-unification Italy, crossing this point would have meant leaving the Papal States to enter the Duchy of Modena, of which Ravarino was a marquisate. In these fields, stretching to the right bank of the Panaro River, peaches, plums, strawberries, apples, Emilia-Romagna IGP pears, and grapes are cultivated to produce Lambrusco wine and the must used to make Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
