Church of Santa Maria Maggiore

The Late Gothic Duomo (cathedral) with its baroque altar

After the 15th century restorations, only the sides and the apses remain from the original late-Gothic layout. The 48-meter bell tower and the baroque altar in the Chapel of Madonna di Pompei, made of gilded wood by the Mirandola school, date back to the 17th century.
