The Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Grace
The Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Grace
The church, annexed to the Rangoni fiefdom, lords of Ravarino, already existed in the 14th century. The current Sanctuary, designed by architect Silvestro Campiotti, dates back to the mid-18th century. Inside, it houses important works, including 17th-century paintings such as the “Transito di San Giuseppe” by Giuseppe Maria Crespi and “Madonna di Montserrat and Saints” by Simone Cantarini. In the apse area, you can admire the reliquary temple made of Carpi scagliola, which holds the image of the Madonna di Montserrat. Above the entrance portal, the exquisite 17th-century organ by the Bolognese Antonio Colonna is prominently displayed.
