Concordia Sulla Secchia
Town Hall
The Town Hall
The building was erected at the behest of Lodovico Corbelli, chancellor of Duke Alessandro I Pico della Mirandola. Dating back to the first half of the 17th century, its location served as a key junction between the roadways to and from Mirandola and the waterways of the Secchia. It was originally intended as a center for the storage and exchange of goods, but over time it took on the characteristics of a noble villa. It was transformed into a fortress during the military events of 1704 and was later sold to the Zanoli family of Mirandola, who are responsible for the public garden space. After renovation work in 1860, it became the new municipal headquarters.
