Church of St. John the Baptist

The church, mentioned as early as the 12th century, became the parish for the entire municipal area in the 15th century; a testimony from this period is the marble baptismal font, dated 1464. The external walls of the church and the elegant quadrangular bell tower, despite having undergone numerous renovations over time, still exhibit the ancient 15th-century structure. In the second half of the 19th century, the church was almost entirely rebuilt and decorated by the Ravarino painter Silvestro Bergamini. In the third chapel of the right nave, a large stucco altarpiece contains the coat of arms of the Rangoni family, ancient feudal lords of the town.
