Cavazzona Oratory
Cavazzona Oratory
This small and charming oratory, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of Cavazzona, is located about halfway along Via Guazzatora and was erected in 1722. Flanked by two poplar trees that appear like cuirassiers standing guard over the building, this place of worship was highly frequented throughout the 20th century when most of the population of Ravarino lived in the countryside. It was especially popular in the month of May, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, for the recitation of the Rosary.
