Monument to Don Giuseppe Andreoli

At the end of World War I, San Possidonio also decided to commemorate its fallen with a monument in their memory, taking advantage of the centenary of the death of local citizen Giuseppe Andreoli, a Risorgimento priest who was a member of the Carbonari and executed during the brutal ducal repression in 1822. The project was designed by Alfredo Gualdi from Modena.
